Info

Plug in, power up, and get ready to roll. The ICON is a brand-new freestyle paramotor wing for advanced and expert pilots who want pure energy in the sky. With a flat aspect ratio of 5.7, 57 cells, and shorter lines than anything in its class, the ICON doesn’t just turn – it spins, rocks, and rolls.

This is not an XC cruiser. The ICON is your joystick in the clouds, made for freestyle flying, dynamic carving, and all-out fun. It launches effortlessly with trimmers set between 0–2, then opens up into a wild ride with a reflex profile, roller-cam trimmers (12cm range) and 2D steering for ultimate control. Trimmers out with full bar? Yes. Brakes usable at every setting? Absolutely.

A careful mix of materials mean its lightweight (from 3.8kg) and durable. The ICON is tuned for lasting agile play. Fast reactions, tight energy and rock-steady stability at speed make it the ultimate freestyle glider – a wing that begs to be pushed, flipped, and flown loud.

Tech

2D Steering System

The 2D steering system gives precise control of the glider’s trailing edge. Brake and tip-steering lines connect to the handle: pulling out affects the centre, pulling in works the tips, and pulling down combines both. Adjust line lengths to match your paramotor set-up.

BGD Parasim

The future of glider design depends largely on simulations. Instead of designing and producing prototypes one by one, our unique in-house structural / aero simulation program, BGD Parasim, enables us to accurately simulate hundreds of virtual prototypes. We test over 200 virtual prototypes for each paraglider, using 50 million iterations of the structural / aero calculations.

Chord Cut Billow (CCB)

Chord Cut Billow technology has been developed to improve the form friction, glider stability and overall performance of our paragliders. Two seams run chord-wise across the top panels of the leading edge to accommodate the panel ballooning that happens when the wing is inflated. Up to five centimetres of excess material is created on the sides of an inflated flat panel bending over a wing profile. Chord Cut Billow technology absorbs the material with a 3D panel resulting in fewer ripples and improved rib profile shape and stability.

Sliding Mini A-Riser

We have added a dedicated sliding mini-A-riser that has a split higher on the risers than usual, which means pilots who naturally grasp all the A's to launch will enjoy a smoothly and clean inflation without a tendency to overfly or collapse, even if the launch pull is a little over-enthusiastic!

Reflex Profile

A solid reflex profile keeps the glider stable when you’re pushing full speed.

Shorter Lines

Shorter lines give the glider tighter energy, more responsive direct control, and an easier launch!

Smooth Roller Cams

The trimmer have new roller-cams which are slip-free, easy and smooth to operate while reducing wear on the webbing.

Sticky Handles

Our innovative PPG brake handles now have a two-finger rubber loop reducing the risk of losing the handle and allowing the pilot to focus on what's important.

Target

The ICON is built for advanced and expert pilots who live to express themselves in the air. Whether it’s freestyle sessions, dynamic carving, or just throwing down some manoeuvres above the LZ, the ICON is for those who want their flying to look as good as it feels. If you want adrenaline, creativity, and freedom to jam in the sky, the ICON is your wing.

Designer's notes

The ICON rewrites the rulebook on freestyle wings. We wanted a glider that rolls like a rock band and handles like an arcade controller – so we built one.
Shorter lines give it tighter energy and more responsive control.

– A reflex profile keeps it stable when you’re pushing full speed.

– Roller-cam trimmers are smooth, durable, and precise, with a12cm range.

– The riser system features 2D steering, sliding mini A-risers, and snap locks.

– Launches are clean, smooth, and easy – no fuss, just lift.

The ICON is not designed to be everything. It’s designed to be the best at one thing: freestyle flying. It’s rock and roll in wing form – fast, loud, and endlessly fun.
