137km triangle mid-winter in Germany
Benedikt Bös pulled off a 137.8km FAI triangle in -8C the other morning before work, flying his Luna 2 23 and Fly Products Eclipse / Atom 80.

"I had to wait a long time until the sky opened so I lost lot of time. I had to be at work 14:00. On the second leg I had to shortcut my planned course a bit because north of Heilbronn was still a cloud field, which I'm not allowed to overfly. As I was freezing already I turned south and flew with up to 1000m AGL (to escape the head wind) back home".
