First airsport was skydiving, 1984 and I heard about paragliding, so in 1986 I used a parachute for ground take off. Not that successful, but in 1991 I started with paragliding, more successful and did so rather intensively for 3 years. Then a long break, often feeling a need to get back up, and for the last 4 years calling some of the best paragliding sites my home as I have been working offshore and free 50% of the year. I have a military background and been working with global security, this and my love for travelling, adventure and exploring has taken me to 46 countries. And more to come.
For me paragliding is about feeling connected to the nature, environment, people and culture. It’s nice with long, high and challenging flights, but it is as much nice with a soft evening flight in sunset in company with friends and family. In recent year getting a bit more into the paragliding industry.
